About this grant

This is the Cantabrian edition of the Fundación Caja Rural de Asturias Excellent grants: 33 scholarships for residents of Cantabria within the foundation's 200 in total. The strands are: A, 20 scholarships of €1,200 (degree and double degree); B, 10 of €1,200 (higher vocational and special programmes); C, 2 of €6,000 and D, one of €12,000 with a development programme. Points are calculated as CAU = 0.6 × Bachillerato average + 0.4 × compulsory PAU phase, plus non-academic merits.

The scholarship is awarded and paid after actual enrolment. A Caja Rural de Asturias card and account are needed, a condition worth considering early. In 2026 applications ran from 1 June to 31 July; the 31 July 2027 date is a guide.
